ADULT TRAINING CLASSES
Funded by the Georgia Division of Vocational Rehabilitation, this program serves adults with disabilities, who are interested in learning work skills and exploring options in preparation for career. We coordinate work experiences with local and surrounding businesses to assist adults in discovering their vocational abilities. This program includes work site visits to employers, guest speakers, workshops and paid work opportunities.
PERSONAL SOCIAL ADJUSTMENT TRAINING
This service is a set of instructional activities designed to develop or reestablish personal and social behaviors designed to enhance employability.
JOB READINESS TRAINING
This service is a set of instructional activities designed to give individuals an opportunity to develop job seeking and job retention.
This service is a set of intensive one on one services including job- task analysis, job training, job behavior management, developing natural supports and employer relations needed to ensure client job retention.
CAREER ORIENTATION/JOB SAMPLING
This service is a short period of job observations and/or job tryout(s) on a community employment site in order to assist an individual in choosing an appropriate job.
WORK ADJUSTMENT TRAINING
This service is to give individuals with disabilities an opportunity to develop acceptable work habits in a community or facility environment. Work adjustment can be provided directly to the person seeking employment or indirectly through corporate employer/employee support programs.
